I'm Yānrán, my friends call me Happy:)
I’m a senior at Cornell University majoring in Information Science with a focus on UX design.
I’ve worked across both enterprise B2B platforms and playful B2C experiences, where structure meets imagination. Recently, I discovered my passion diving into ambiguity and shaping new kinds of AI-driven interactions.
Outside of Figma, I’m usually sketching game worlds, editing vlogs, or styling looks just for fun.

Shaping Cornell’s design community:>
On campus, I'm part of Cornell Design & Tech Initiative, a project team that makes a real community impact through its products. I'm also a design consultant at Design Consulting at Cornell, working with clients like Bloomberg and various GenAI start-ups.
ARTISTIC

I’m an artist.
My passion for design began with my love for drawing and painting. Design, for me, is where aesthetics meet practical problem-solving, allowing me to merge beauty with functionality! Check out my artwork in my Gallery

I’m a secret vlogger.
I’ve built a 50k+ following across platforms (Bilibili & Rednote) by mixing content creation with a love for editing. For me, it’s as much about creative expression as it is about learning how the creator and audiences interact.

Modeling for audiences of 2,000+ at Cornell’s spring shows and working with fashion brands taught me confidence and the bravery to put myself out there.
