I'm Yānrán Li!
Btw, my friends call me Happy:)

I’m a junior at Cornell University, majoring in Information Science with a UX concentration and minoring in Design and Environmental Analysis.

Over the summer, I interned at Wiley as a UI/UX design intern, where I gained hands-on experience enhancing B2B enterprise user productivity. I've also worked on multiple B2C projects, integrating Gen-AI technology to provide delightful experiences for users.

On campus, I lead the design team for Cornell Digital Tech & Innovation, a 80+ member project team comprising designers, developers, and product managers that creates impactful digital products for the Cornell community.

I’m also part of Design Consulting at Cornell, the Ivy League’s largest student-run design consultancy. Last semester, I collaborated with Bloomberg on a consulting project, and I’m currently serving as a project manager.

I’m passionate about using design to solve real-world problems and create meaningful, positive experiences for users✨.

On campus, I'm part of Cornell Design & Tech Initiative, a project team that makes a real community impact through its products. I'm also a design consultant at Design Consulting at Cornell, working with clients like Bloomberg and various GenAI start-ups.

I’m also an artist, cat person, model, and secret vlogger...

My passion for design began with my love for drawing and painting. I explored various mediums, from acrylic and oil painting to physical installations and digital art, as a way to express my creativity. Design, for me, is where aesthetics meet practical problem-solving, allowing me to merge beauty with functionality!
I had the opportunity to model in front of an audience of over 2,000 for the Cornell Fashion Collective's spring show for two consecutive years, in addition to working with various fashion brands and photography studios.
Here are my cats (2/4) btw! They are named after their colors :)
